For over two decades, Jason Morrison’s work has focused on the policy implications of private sector sustainability initiatives, with a focus on freshwater-related business risks and on sustainable water management in the business community. He currently directs the Corporate Sustainability Program at the Pacific Institute, a non-profit, non-partisan sustainability policy research center based in Oakland, California. Under a 2008 Memorandum of Understanding between the Pacific Institute and the UN Global Compact, Morrison serves as the Technical Director for the CEO Water Mandate, supporting the initiative with applied research, event organization, and other services. He is a Co-Founder and current Board Member of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS), a global initiative working to develop a freshwater certification program to advance responsible water practices by water providers and large-scale users. Morrison holds a Master's Degree from Boston University's Center for Energy and Environmental Studies and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego.
