Poul Jeppesen
President and CEO

Poul Jeppesen serves as President and CEO of SKF USA Inc., the U.S. corporate operation, a position he has held since January, 2010.

Jeppesen is Chairman of the Board for PEER Bearing (an SKF Subsidiary), Chairman of the Board of General Bearing Company (an SKF Subsidiary), Chairman of the Board of SKF de Mexico, and Director of the Board for National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). He is also a member of the Board of Venture Aero-bearings (Joint Venture with GE Aviation), the MAPI Board of Trustees, and the Executive Committee with the American Bearing Manufacturers Association (ABMA).

A native of Aalborg in Denmark, Jeppesen started his professional career in 1980 as a Sales Engineer for an SKF Authorized Distributor. He then joined SKF Denmark in 1982 as a Sales Engineer and moved to the U.S. in 1991, where he has established permanent residence as a U.S. citizen.

Jeppesen’s educational background is in Mechanical Engineering combined with a degree in Business Administration focusing on Marketing and Business Finance. He has attended a number of executive courses at the Darden Business School in Virginia and the SKF Global Business Consortium course with the London Business School.
